LiveScan Electronic Fingerprinting

Absolute Fingerprinting Service provides LiveScan electronic fingerprinting for Maryland Criminal record check and Nation (FBI) Criminal record check.

Absolute Fingerprinting Service and its staff have been authorized and certified through the State of Maryland and C.J.I.S. to electronically transmit State and Federal Criminal Background record requests to the Central Repository. The direct Livescan method captures all required Criminal History information on behalf of Federal and State agencies as well as licensing requirements for private individuals.

In the near future, the Maryland C.J.I.S (CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION SERVICES) and the Maryland State Police will no longer accept inked fingerprint cards for Federal and State licensing or backgrounds. ALL fingerprinting will be done by way of the ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION or "LIVESCAN" method. When this time comes, the Maryland State Police and local law enforcement agencies will no longer provide fingerprint services to the general public. Absolute still provides fingerprinting using the traditional ink method. This service is usually needed when an individual has to be fingerprinted for another state or agency.
